Alternatively, there’s a hidden path under the cliffs that brings you – at low tide – to enchanting Sandy Cove. This area is renowned for its fuchsia-lined lanes and there are many walking trails signposted from Lee Village for you to uncover. Both Woolacombe and Ilfracombe are within 3.5 miles, offering shops, places to eat and drink, and more golden beaches.
