“To describe this place as refurbished was ridiculous. Old, tatty, grubby, worn, unloved would be more accurate descriptions. A part of the bathroom wall was actually missing where a tile had come off, leaving a hole in the wall big enough for a family of rats to come through. It was game over for me when I sat down on the bed and a giant cockroach scurried across the floor from under it. I know the management keep saying they’ve just taken the place over but the only decent thing to do would be……
