“This resort has yurts and domes as well as rooms in the lodge. The yurts and domes do not have their own baths. The lodge rooms where we were did. The room had a double bed and a single. The double was quite comfortable, the single not so much. Our room was on the bottom floor. There was a restaurant attached and the option to have a package with breakfast and dinner. Though we didn't have the package we did eat a breakfast and a couple of dinners. The food was excellent. They have music……

“The dome itself was lovely and well situated on the water. The bed was uncomfortable, but the linens were clean. I was very disappointed in the facilities. I have no issues with using a pit toilet, however you must provide some running water for guests. The only way I was able to fill up water bottles was to ask the people at the lodge to go into the kitchen to fill my water bottles. I was also incredibly disgusted by the showers at Cabot Shores. “We were to be in the Green Chalet (the word chalet is quite misleading). Informed host we would be arriving late. Chalet could only be identified by the roof colour, which in the dark is not visible. A sign on the cabin would have been helpful. The breakfast (an additional charge) was watery scrambled eggs, cold pancakes, dry bread, frozen raspberries. The manager was to be in at 8:00, finally showed up at 8:25.
