“Went with 3 couples to bird cheek chalet for a friends 40th birthday. This place is very nice and spacious. There’s plenty of room for everyone to spread out. It’s pet friendly and the road is nice for walking your pet and you can get on the trail down to bird creek nearby. We skied Alyeska and it was about a 14 min drive. We also spent a relaxing day at the nearby Nordic Spa. The hot tub at the Chalet is a very nice addition and we were able to see the northern lights from it one night! The……

“Place was nice and had all the things needed for 2 people. Kitchen supplies were better than most places with all upgrades pots and pans and utensils. Ladder might be a problem for some getting up to the loft for some. Only complaint is the door code was malfunctioning and had to wait for a back up person to come and open the door with a key from the key lock box. 1.5 hours to get in. Owner does not need to have a 10 digit code to open a door. In all my travels 4 to 5 code is efficient. And male……

“In the foothills overlooking Anchorage. Liked the location. Downstairs apartment with quite a few stairs so not good for anyone with problems walking or toting heavy suitcases. Some upstairs noise. Living room and kitchen quite small but we made do as we were gone most of the time. More suited to a couple than three though and not really set up for cooking meals. Two nice size bedrooms. Full size bathroom but could use some updating. Lovely porch with view of city. Nice quiet neighborhood.”

“The house is so easy to get to from airport and not far from downtown. Very quiet neighborhood. The house was beautiful and super clean. The host directions were perfect. Will definitely book here again when I return!”
