No wifi was a big draw card and the kids were engaged with us and explored and played games rather than staring at screens. The cabin was cosy and warm and had everything we needed. “Really loved the location. Had never seen this part of Kaikora before. The sea was so calm and looked beatiful the day we arrived. Just a 2 min walk away. House was great, had everthing we needed.”

“Lovely cosy house with heaps of space. Had a wonderful stay and the rain didn’t bother us with the roaring log burner and spa outside. Stars were magnificent when the sky was clear. A couple of nice walks in the bush nearby too. WiFi was excellent. ”

“The cosy cottage at Kaikoura is a great place to stay. The location is near many great walks, the sea and the boat excursions. It’s in a quiet location and there is no light pollution , so the stars at night are amazing. Seeing the sunrise and moonrise at the Kaikoura lookout is a must. The location is not far from town, seal colony , esplanade and town eateries. The location has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It’s clean and very comfortable. It’s dog friendly and our pooch loved……

“We were amazed at the lovely grounds and spacious house. As we had a gathering of our adult children it was lovely to be able to spread out but gather under the large under cover outdoor area. We played pingpong in the game room, hung out next to the river but mainly used the house as base camp to explore the region. The garden is big and secure, so doggy could run free. The garden also supplied us with veges, lettuce cherry tomatoes, spring onions and more. (I wish my tomatoes grew that……
