Family room was spacious with TV and was perfect for watching a movie.Fire pit with chairs was great to sit around and night . Host was quick to respond and accommodating and provides all bedding and towels which makes packing for your stay 100% easier . Would recommend this home to all our friends and family. Loved It! ”

“Outstanding property. However, the impression was that it was on the lake. Actually it had no lake access. The lake could not be seen from the property. The cabin was also directly on a busy highway. Traffic noise was bothersome but evenings and nights very quiet. Otherwise, the stay was magnificent. Extremely well appointed lodging. Well stocked in every way. Incredible hot plunge pool and outdoor fire place. Plentiful welcome gifts. Everything in perfect order. Great porch with rockers to……

“Wonderful week’s vacation at this rental. House is well-equipped, including a counter top ice maker. That was a lovely surprise! We were 6 people all week, 2 additional adults for a few days. Plenty of sleeping options, living area is roomy, comfortable, decorated very Adirondack-y, in a good way. Excellent location. Lake is stunning. So many things to do in the immediate area. Hosts very responsive. ”

“The stay was the best to date by far. I’ve been coming to old forge for years and always looking for a great place to stay. I need to look no more. Matt was awesome at responding to everything. The attention to detail in the house was perfect. From fresh towels to the coffee and different flavor creamers and even the small things like having hooks outside near the hot tub to hang towels. The house was also spotless. Clean from top to bottom. This will be my new spot for the future. Perfect! ”

“We had a great visit! There is beautiful natural light from the windows. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Loved the design of the fireplace and the photos of wildlife in the living room. We hope to come back when we have more time to explore the area. We enjoyed Chef Darrell's Diner in Blue Mountain Lake. there is outdoor and indoor seating.We really appreciated being able to bring our dog, thank you! ”

“There lodge was awesome, especially the patio! We had a great time with cousins that hadn’t been together in years! We had 1 small issue with the door lock needing the battery replaced. Once VRBO notified the gentleman was there to fix it in about a half hour or less! Great service!”

“The property was magnificent and spacious! Beautiful views of the lake! Plenty of living spaces to be gather together or have separate time as needed, for our multigenerational family if 10. Th property contained everything needed for fun on the lake, meal prep and comfort. Cleanliness was great even to my exacting standards. Our host was very easy to communicate either and responded quickly to any questions that came up. Timberwind was fabulous!”
