“The room was as shown in the pictures and it was comfy. This is a good place for stroking our fork if you’re into hiking and mountain biking. Located above “Out Out” restaurant it is a bit noisy and hot in the room but the windows open easily and let in plenty of fresh air. It did the job for a weekend for a solo traveller but it would be a bit of a squeeze for two adults - the under bed storage is big enough for bags etc and the bed itself was comfy. “My family and I had a lovely time at the cottage. It was easy to find and sits in a beautiful setting. It was peaceful and cosy and charming. It's easy reach to Edinburgh also. I did a gorgeous local walk along the river and beyond. We felt very relaxed and at home and wished we could have stayed longer!”

“We all absolutely no complaints on our stay, the properly was cleaned for our arrival and we even had a cake with some wine left for our arrival. I only gave 4 stars for accuracy of online listing due to the maps location on the posting did not match where the location actually was and we got a lil lost but a quick call with the host and we found it. ”
