“Everything about the bear den was perfect! Comfortable, cozy and clean. It has been my favorite place to ever stay! We saw an eagle in the tree right off the front porch! The scenery was amazing and it was so nice to do a fishing charter and go back to a house to make the food you just caught. We enjoyed every single day in Ketchikan and it was so nice to have a wonderful place to relax in the afternoons on the porch and sleep well so the next day you can get up and explore again! “We had a terrific stay on the Lady Faye - we are a family of 4 with 2 teen boys ( age 17 and 13). This is a beautiful ship in an incredible setting - we had coffee in the AM watching floatplanes and cruise ships glide by - in the evening seals and sea lions coupled with fishing cruisers coming and going was beautiful. “Great VRBO! 3 of us stayed here very comfortably. There are lots of stairs to get in and another flight in the house. It was fine for us but might be difficult for someone else.The view is just stunning. Fun to watch all the cruise ships coming in and out of the channel. Bedrooms and bath are downstairs. Kitchen and living are when you enter house on upper level with a half bath. Kitchen was well equipped. Shower was equipped with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Lots of towels were provided.……

“Absolutely adorable stay here in Sitka. The space is quite big for a two bedroom. The only issue was a new building is going up right next to it and does block some of the views from inside. If you’re here tho, you’ll get all the beautiful views exploring anyways ”

“This is the place at Knudson Cove! Super fishing advice. Freezer in unit. Montana style hospitality. My family had a super fun stay!”

“Amber and Mike are wonderful host! Very responsive to messages. The home is clean and in an amazing location. Humpback whales traveled past the house as well. It was an amazing stay; we did not want to leave. Advice: Avocados are 2.50 so if you eat as many as we do I suggest you buy some (not ripe) to bring with you. If you need ice go to Fish From Trish (she has great seafood for sale). Visit as many of the local lakes as you can. They are all beautiful and worth the hike. ”
