“advice - it stated in the description that is sleeps 6 - there was only 4 chairs at the dining table - so thankfully there were chairs in the bunk house we brought to the main cabin - ALSO only 4 chairs on the deck so we asked Emily for some lawn chairs to accommodate the six of us . this is minor but also a couple of chairs on the deck of the bunk house would have been great to enjoy the beautiful view. we were lacking in spoons also . Just wanted the host to know this for the next……

“It's not the taj mahal, and neither is the price. Very utilitarian for the 5 of us for the nights we stayed. If you are a stay inside family, this is not for that. It's simple, it's clean, pricing is on point. I have stayed in hotels and motels all over the country, and this is the higher end of bargain price quality. We definitely appreciated our stay here, and will be staying again in the future! ”

“The bathroom was the biggest problem with mold and moldy black baseboards coming apart at the base molding. (No pun intended.) The hot water heater was literally next to the bed, covered in carpeting with loose screws on top. The location was misrepresented and not in the park or even in a wooded area, but on an atrial street in a neighborhood.”

“The Hilltop Cabin was perfect! It was filled with everything we needed for a fun filled family weekend of fishing, playing, swimming, and watching the Timberwolves. We will be back! Gary, thanks for your kindness, hospitality, and help -”

“This place is amazing. The location is prime to go into Voyageurs in no time at all, but you barely need to with the location of the property. Secluded in a private bay that protects from any wind or noise, just a couple of fishing boats floating by on occasion. The interior is really decked out from the perfect north woods decor to the quick internet and multiple large areas for people to hang out. The one thing that would make it even more perfect would be a sauna!”
