We really enjoyed our last night of vacation here. Excellent hospitality and the beds were very comfortable. Front desk reception was excellent, she was so personable and friendly. The Pub had a great vibe and great food. There is even a small convenience store/chocolate shop and NSLC on property.

Positives first: Views from our balcony were beautiful. Convenient to Highland Village & Fortress Louisbourg. Food in the pub was good. Staff were very friendly - especially Grace & the young gentleman who served us dinner in the pub. Next, the Negatives: The property itself could use some TLC and a deep cleaning. We were assigned to Room 11 for two nights. For the first time in over 30 years of traveling extensively together, my wife asked the front desk for paper towels so that she could clean the bathroom with laundry detergent she had packed - it was that bad. We later realized that our expectations - based on the online pics - was quite different than the reality.

Very picturesque and quiet stay with incredible views for sunrise! The staff at the Inn as well as the pub were incredibly welcoming and kind. Customer service was phenomenal. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

The staff at this property make you feel like you’re at home! There’s a ton available for you on the property and you will never be able to beat the view! We highly recommend Iona Heights and will return!

Bien situé entre Sydney + Louisbourg et Baddeck + Cabot Trail. Il y a un restaurant dans l’hôtel qui est très bien. Le personnel a été accueillant et disponible. Plusieurs activités de jeux sont disponibles à l’extérieur et les enfants ont beaucoup aimé. Les chambres auraient cependant besoin d’un nettoyage plus en profondeur.

The price is good and the property overall was okay. The area wasn't hard to find. Arrived later and we're able to still be checked in so that was great. No drinks machine on site but an employee gave us 2 water bottles that was nice. Good to be on ground level with a pet. Cleanliness could be improved.

The basketball net and pickle ball court were nice additions. There is also a playground right across the road for the kids to play at! There is a farm stand and bakery right down the road from the inn as well.

Excellent service. We did stay there on out way to Cabot trail it was a little out of the way but excellent option for our kids to run around and enjoy the property after being away for over a week and a half. They enjoyed the basketball net, pickle ball court. We also enjoyed a concert at the restaurant that night as an added surprise. Excellent view and clean.
