“My three old friends and I had a relaxing, peaceful weekend in this beautiful cabin in the woods. Only the sounds of nature accompanied us as we sat around the fire pit and reminisced. When we first arrived we found out from the owner they’d been made aware of the hot water heater not working as it should. They had maintenance come while we out for dinner, and by the time we got back, everything was fixed and the hot water was fine. It was truly impressive with how swiftly they took care of the……

“Everything was perfect (except for the weather at check-in!). The location is wonderful, we loved the bathroom/showers and greenhouse where we could hang and eat and admire Benka's plants! (So many orchids!). Keith was an awesome host filling us in on everything - even the surrounding area. The walking paths are beautiful and serine. The additional 5 canine hosts were adorable and Mici I'm so sorry you didn't spend at least one night with us! I wish we would have been able to stay longer……

“We have been here before. This is our second stay. We love the tin roof cabin. We call it the girl scout cabin because of the layout of the beds but we heard it used to be a nunery. Either way it is a spectacular property. We were traveling with all of our children and spouses. We love The Abbey Kitchen, Elephant Rocks, Johnsons Shut-Ins, and new this time we rafted with Parks Bluff. A great trip. Two things; the listing says toaster and we didn't see one. Also the air wasn't working……

“The Charlotte was the perfect place to stay! I can not say enough about how relaxing our trip was, being able to stay here. It was so peaceful and clean and had everything you would need! The cabin was beautifully decorated, and the added touches made it feel cozy. . The view is beautiful. Daniel responded quickly, and available if there were questions. We were close to Johnson shut-ins, elephant rocks and many other places to explore. Coming back and relaxing in the outdoor area was just what……

“My daughter and I had such a great time here. It was super clean and cozy! We loved the location, too, as it was close to numerous hiking trails and a few local restaurants, yet far enough away to feel secluded for that mountain feel. We would definitely book here again!”

“Our family (with 2 kids 9 & 11) had a great stay in Turtle Rock. The pool was great and stocked with pool floats. The cabin was clean and well-appointed with lots of room for our family (murphy bed was comfortable) and a charcoal grill on the patio. Also nice having a washer/dryer in the unit. It was close to town for quick access to groceries, coffee, and restaurants. Not far from Johnson's Shut-Ins, Elephant Rocks, Black River float trips, and an old time candy shop/soda fountain in……
