“The location was a plus. Close enough to town but far enough to enjoy the peaceful lake setting. My husband enjoyed fishing right off the dock and having several poles and supplies was a plus. . Having a canoe too for use was great. We took the canoe out and spent several hours on the beautiful a lake. The cottage had the amenities to make our stay complete. We hope to be back again! ”

The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and pans and COFFEE! Always love seeing that offered. Biking/hiking and restaurants nearby. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to just relax. ”

“Myself and a group of friends stayed at Chase's home in August and we had such a great time. The house was spacious enough for all of us to be together. The weather was fantastic so we got to use the different outdoor toys and hangout in the water a lot too. Nice and private area where we felt comfortable to do as we pleased. We would definitely come back again!”

“Our family was all able make the drive from southern Il, central Il, and northern Il to meet with family who live near this property. Our first time all together in one place in years! Plenty of space for everyone and then some! We got to see the area covered in beautiful snow fall. Would love to see the area again in the summer time. The game room was a big hit too!”

The views from the porches are equally as inviting with plenty of spaces to enjoy inside and out. “The good: Outside: the dock, swim pad, accessories, deck, outdoor furniture, neighborhood, location. Inside: everything worked, A/C was mostly sufficient with fan blowing into bedroom. The not so good: there is clearly a known ant problem on the center peninsula of the kitchen, saw spray in the utility room. Could use a thorough going-through for bugs, cobwebs, pet hair e Overall: for the location and price, this is a decent value if you're spending most of your time outside. Bring your own……
