“It’s a very pretty cottage. I personally think Garry and Sharyn did an amazing job to upkeep and maintain the condition of the property, given it was built back in 1800s. We stayed at Maids Quarter, which is 2 bed, separate kitchen, lounge room, and bathroom, very spacious and well equipped. The atmosphere is quiet and idyllic. Would like to come back for longer stay.”

“The Otway Nest is located in a rain forest and the drive there was stunning, we arrived and were greeted by a beautiful, modern, and full featured BnB. The heater was on, the home was warm, and small details like having our dogs bowl full of water ready for her arrival was wonderful. A couple of slight disappointments we did have with this stay was a lack of electric car charging (I had no idea I was meant to let them know my car was electric, and there could have been a charge point available……

“This is not worth the cost. It is basically a farm stay surrounded by introduced trees with the faint smell of cow dung and the sound of gun shots. It may be near beautiful native trees of the Otways, but they are not accessible. The property map provided is out of date and access to the waterfalls hasn't been maintained. Be prepared for long arduous walks and rock climbing to access them. We stayed for a week on daily rates but had no top up of supplies. We had to supply our own soap, bin……

“The bootmakers cottage is beautiful and we loved the old world charm of this house! The house was lovely and clean and the beds were very comfortable. “This property is in one of the best locations in Victoria. Filled with wildlife, felt so remote and yet only 15mins to Apollo bay. So relaxing and peaceful. The outside areas of the property itself was a bit rundown with the balcony in need of some repairs. There were a number of nails sticking out and some of the boards were rotted. The interior was perfect, with everything that you need. For those with dogs- I’m not sure this should be listed as pet friendly accommodation as dogs are not……
