“Communication with host was excellent as was the check in and out process. The shower had great pressure and plenty of hot water. The location is beautiful with a magnolia tree, pine tree and wisteria in full bloom hanging over the fence (which is in need of repair—stated in listing). It was easy walking distance to the beach—approximately 0.5 miles to the middle beach parking lot and another 0.4 miles to the water’s edge. It is a quiet neighborhood. The floor had not been swept well prior to us……

“The house is well suited for two couples (with a couple of young kids) or an entire family. Kitchen has plenty of pots/pans, utensils, plates, glasses, toasters and so on. Photos represent the property accurately. We’d encourage visitors to walk about a mile west and explore the undeveloped end of the island. Likewise, check out the bird sanctuary. The ferry to Gulf Shores area is fun. ”

“My wife and i wanted a nice quiet stay with a breath taking view and we got just that. Very quaint house, very minimalistic, but well spaced out. Private beach on the bay side and minutes feom everything. ”

“My husband and I, plus my mom just returned from a relaxing 4 night stay at this lovely beach house. The home is adorable, comfortable, stylishly decorated and extremely clean. The photos of this home are accurate, and it is apparent that it is well taken care of. There were plenty of bath linens, kitchen ware, extra bed linens, pillows, blankets etc. Both queen beds were comfortable. Did not use the singles. I read the reviews about window treatments and I had a concern ahead of time, but it……

“Check in was exactly at 3 pm. But you are literally 2 blocks from the ocean and waiting should never be a boring issue. Apartment was very bright and clean. Nice sitting area out back. Very quiet neighborhood. I did try to take a nap after driving 11 hours but when I turned the bed back the sheets were very damp. Clean but too damp to lay on. The bathroom has no storage and is very small. Would be hard to manage with kids. No dishwasher but I don’t have one at home either. We would definitely……

“The first thing I did was get stuck in the sand, and I had to be towed out. The driver said they sure need more gravel on the driveway. It looks as if the right side has washed away. Anyway, the floor is warped, and there is paint missing on the window sill and cabinets. I say this because I don't wish to be dinged for damages. Overall, we had a great time. The home is lovely, and dishes, towels, etc were all plentiful. I would rent it again if the driveway were fixed and there was no swing”
