“From the first communication with Shari, I knew this would be a good visit. What I didn't realize was how magical the experience would be. Shari welcomed us to the house and gave us a bit of history. It was the perfect setting for celebrating the Christmas holidays with family: my son and daughter-in-law, their newborn son, my elderly in-laws, and my DIL's parents. Many happy memories were made in this historical house on the river. It was a visit we will never forget!”

“The neighborhood was nice and house was as advertised. We cooked and used the grill and enjoyed visiting in gathering area with friends. We had a small plumbing problem with the house and the owners very quickly responded and fixed the problem. Would be glad to stay with them again.”

“There were 5 women staying two nights for a local women's conference. The house was very clean with all the amenities you could ask for. The neighborhood was beautiful, quiet, and felt quite safe. I would have been comfortable taking a walk around the house alone had I had time! The town is so cute, too. Everything was in good repair and looked just like the pictures online. I would HIGHLY recommend this place. It was a lovely place to stay. ”

“Great place! Made visiting my parents and looking for new permanent housing much less stressful. This space was very open and welcoming. The bedrooms were big and the beds were great to sleep in. It was nice to have my own bathroom. Everything worked great and was very clean. I can't wait to stay there again if I get a chance.”

“It was a little bit complicated figuring out how to contact the host through the VRBO site. When I did reach the host, I found them to be cordial and open to continued communication throughout our stay. This took the stress out of traveling to a location we had not previously been to. “We stayed here while visiting nearby family over Christmas time. The house was large enough for our family of 6 and there was a very nicely equipped kitchen. It was very close to several restaurants in the area. The park across the street was all decorated for Christmas as was the house and that was great! Because it was winter, the downstairs bathroom was cold and we wished it had a heater. The shower was very large in that bathroom and so we wanted to use that one for our special needs……

“Definitely wished we would have known about this place sooner. We would have stayed here multiple times over the last 4 years our daughter attended Olivet. It was a great staging place for my daughter to get organized/packed up as she graduated. You can walk to campus and Dairy Queen (Yum!). The host left snacks out for us. We asked if there was an iron on the property. Within hours, the host had brought a brand new iron and board to the house. Response to any question was immediate. The house……
