“The rooms can you another round of cleaning. A little dirty everywhere. But the friendly staff makes up for it but not all the way.”

The afternoon receptionist kindly assisted us in solving a problem with our reservation at the Alda hotel at our next destination, and we really appreciated that! We'd stay here again.”

“O hotel fica bem próximo à praia. Não é fácil estacionar. Tem vaga gratuita na rua, mas tem que ter sorte. O café da manhã tem muitas opções, mas o rapaz que serve não é simpático. O quarto é grande e a cama super confortável. Como fomos em final de junho o calor não estava tão forte, mas o ar condicionado deve fazer falta no alto verão. A praia é muito boa e tem restaurantes, mercado e igreja super perto. ”

“What a gem of a hotel! Excellent location, right on the beach. Lovely sea views from the room. Excellent breakfast, although coffee machine not great, yet there is a decent barista coffee machine in the bar. It was low season when we were there in mid-May, so only a few guests. Loads of sun loungers by the pool and the hotel does not tolerate the classic German habit of “bagging” sun loungers. Food at dinner was OK, nothing special, but there is a 3-course menu at €24, which is OK. If you want……

“Came to the Casa after a long drive. The outdoor jacuzzi was heated awaiting our arrival. The room was fantastic. We had a perfectly prepared fresh fish dinner paired with a bottle of wine from Casa do Sear estate. After that, we capped off with a sauna before retiring to bed. Incredible ”

“The room had a mini fridge which was useful and it has a supermarket right next door that opens from Monday to Saturday until 10 pm. The hotel is within walking distance from the bus/train stations (around 700 meters). The staff is friendly and professional.”
