Entire Carpenter Crafted Home - Lapis Lotus

A Rare Peaceful Gem! Handcrafted by a local carpenter, this unique, newly remodeled island home is adorned with an intricately carved porch surrounded by gardens & fields of sugar cane. The stunning great room with vaulted ceilings provides an open-concept living, dining & kitchen area with all new appliances and amenities. A unique archway connects you to bedrooms with A/C, custom queen beds & 1 1/2 bath.

A large area for parking is located under the home. On one of the few paved roads in Utila to provide you private tranquility that is only 1.8 km (1.1 miles) which is a 5-minute Golf Cart/Bike Ride OR 10-minute walk to the Town, Ferry, Beach and Airport.
A 2 min walk to the local corner convenience store.

This is a testament to the quality of Honduran craftsmanship of Utila.

It’s was a very nice stay The neighborhood was very nice and quiet which is very good especially if you just want to relax and be at peace. Everything in the house is exactly how it is shown on the photos so I really like it Looking forward to booking it again in the future

Perfect island getaway

What a well built and clean home with a very cool island vibe that we didn't want to leave! It was such a good deal that I feel lucky to have found it. You can tell the owner takes pride in this home and wants visitors to feel comfortable and welcome. My family thoroughly enjoyed staying and it felt like our second home. Alisha was very helpful with all the local advice we were looking for being new to Utila and she handled all the arrangements. She was always available when we needed anything. We left very very happy. I still dream of this place and my family and I want to come back.

Conveniently located

So much better than the pictures. Beautiful place for such a bargain. Really unique style. A few minutes away from everything and located on a well maintained road. The property manager, Alisha connected us with the best dives and a day at a Caye. Definitely coming back and staying here again.

Lapis Lotus was the perfect island home

Thank you so much for the best experience in Utila! Lapis Lotus was the perfect home for us. The house was immaculate and such a unique island design. The Property Manager Alisha was the best and hooked us up with everything we needed. The home was just a few minutes from the airport and ferry. Such a peaceful location and was so convenient to access the beaches, restaurants and shops. It was spacious for the two of us and would have easily accommodated a family. The people on Utila are so friendly and welcoming. Definitely our yearly vacation home!
