“Come here for authentic Nicaraguan lifestyle. Simple bedrooms, cold showers and Mom's cooking. Mark is very helpful, friendly and welcoming. Mark hosts every meal and invited guides to inform us about hiking the volcanoes and arranged a 4-wheeler to come directly to the hostel which was very convient. Don't stay here if you are expecting luxury. Property is conviently located near Altagracia but removed enough from the tourist scene. Three adoabrle kittys made it even to harder to leave this……

“Douglas Hughes is an excellent owner-host. He also has an exceptional staff. The hotel is exquisite. Great location too. ”

“This small, inexpensive and unpretentious hotel is centrally located, has a grassy courtyard with hammocks, a free traditional breakfast and very friendly and accommodating staff. The included city tour was informative (and, by the way, Carlos's English is better than our current President's) and a great introduction to the city's history and features.
