“This was an absolutely stunning property! The view was unparalleled! Erika and Herbie are lovely hosts and helped to make the stay very pleasant. Don't pass up the opportunity to stay here! If you love bird watching, listening to howler monkeys, eating delicious homemade breakfasts and sunning in an amazing infinity pool while staring at the Pacific ocean, then you will LOVE the Eco Lodge. Would stay here again in a heartbeat and hope to get the chance to again!”

“Un hotel debe tener atención en recepción y siempre estuvo vacía. La limpieza no está bien porque parece fumigaron y olvidaron recoger lás cucarachas muertas (en las sabanas y gavetas) . El restaurante con una sola persona para atender y también ayudaba en la cocina. Solo vimos dos personas para limpiar, cocinar y atender , eso es muy poco personal.”

“Beautiful rooms and very friendly staff. The food and drinks were amazing. The beach space is fantastic, very few people at the beach and the water was easy and calm. Highly recommend!”

“Stunning location on an island 45 minutes from Boca Chica by boat in the middle of a National Park. Off the grid, solar power so it is a chance to disconnect completely. Great use of natural environment in construction and esthetics. The cabins are simple and open air, spacious and are clean. The temperature in Feb. was warm but there is always a lovely breeze. We enjoyed snorkeling and hiking over to Playa Grande. This is a great place for 4 nights or so. Do not expect warm showers, high ……

“Very tired hotel. We went in the pool and instantly regretted it after finding a large toad and toad spawn floating around. ”

“On the pictures it shows beautiful big tents, but it is"just" a tent.... It says it is on the beach of Boca Chica but that little town is on the mainland!? The location is on top of a hill, a 10 to 20 minutes steep walk to the beach. There is no TV, no garden and it has someting like a communal area where the only staff member ( a young girl who speaks only spanish!) hangs around in a hammock. It seems like there are 5 ROOMS, but in reality they have 3 tents and two "sort of" rooms.....……

“We stayed here for 4 days, the place is beautiful and well stocked. Had a small hiccup with the water when we arrived but everything was soon rectified. Thanks Rick for allowing us to stay at your place. Communication was great and you provided everything we needed to make our stay great. ”

“Driving up to the home, it’s breathtaking! We enjoyed daily morning coffee walking by the beach. The home is beautiful, spacious and had lots of extras to enjoy during our stay. Our kids enjoyed the beautiful pool daily, it was cleaned once while we were there. The landscape was well maintained & full of flowers, coconuts and felt very private. Maria, the property manager, was wonderful! She told us great places to eat, helped us arrange a water taxi for the most epic day visiting beaches off……
