“We stayed at Drumgarry for a week in early April and could not have picked a better week weather wise. We are a family of 3 plus one small dog, and had a fantastic time. The house is large with plenty of space and has amazing views from the Livingroom/decking at the front of the property. The house is located in a very quiet and peaceful area with the added bonus of a lovely Inn at the foot of the drive that serves food throughout the day. The walk into the village is just over 1km, either along a hilly route, which is quieter, or along a level route, where you walk right next to a busy road. The mobile home was spotless and the facilities in the home were spot on.Kitchen utensils and cooking facilities were brilliant. “The hotel is a few minutes walk from Mallaig train station, and the ferry terminal. There are two supermarkets and a few restaurants around the village so that one can easily get refreshments. I was amazed that the hotel is in a delicate traditional wooden decor, and has a relaxing garden terrace. I also enjoyed the window view a lot! The room was clean and it’s reception was excellent.
