"We stayed for one night, and overall it was a pleasant stay. Our room was clean & spacious, the staff was friendly, the public rooms were nice (drawing room, bar, etc), and the grounds surrounding the castle were gorgeous. Only complaint is that dinner was a disappointment with underwhelming food ..."

Nice room, and even nicer service
"Second stay here - returning after a previous visit in 2018. The same 3-bed room is as impeccable as before (with one new decorative item), but most importantly the helpful staff is a newly-discovered plus: accidentally left behind a bottle of whisky in the room and I was already in another town ..."

"We enjoyed visiting Islay! Our stay at the Quaint and Quirky Cottage was lovely. It is spacious, but still cosy and warm. It has all the amenities that you need. The cottage's location is also very good and suited us very well."
