This relaxing getaway offers private balconies off of each of the bedrooms where guests can take in nature and the beautiful lagoon views. The spacious living room features vaulted ceilings and large picture windows creating a welcoming and relaxing space to unwind after a day at the beach or on the golf course. This two-story, family-friendly getaway also offers guests access to the community's swimming pool and basketball court.

Lagoon Villa is located in the heart of Wild Dunes and is within walking distance to restaurants, tennis, golf, and the beach. Guests can also rent bikes and explore the miles of biking trails throughout the resort. Enjoy the quiet of Wild Dunes or venture to downtown Isle of Palms for shopping, live music, and dining, which is less than a five-mile drive away. Hikers, mountain bikers, kayakers, and campers will be thrilled to know that the Francis Marion National Forest less than 30 miles north for some outdoor adventures. Historic Charleston is also just a 17-mile drive away.

The lagoon was fun. Some wildlife visible. Location was great. Not as close to the beach as I thought, but not bad. Has some maintenance issues. Ceiling repair needed. Some outside work. Overall great stay!
The check in was super easy. The location is super nice with a warm pool and beach access with a little walk. We rented a golf cart to get around the island easily, since this property is in the wild dunes you have to have a company with Wild Dunes permit, we used just beachy. But the place was clean, backed up to water were we seen an alligator. It was super nice. Can’t wait to come back next year.

Toddler’s Beach Weekend
Convenient to beach access and restaurants. We enjoyed the community pool to ourselves one afternoon! Unit was dated as mentioned by others, but clean and spacious. Stocked well with towels, detergent, toilet paper, etc. Air units noisy but the cicadas outside drowned out a lot! Would stay again for space, location and price. Still waiting for reply from local management on issue we had with lock during checkin. Vacasa customer support very responsive but had to refer me to local management who we did not hear from promptly.

Isle of Palms getaway
Our stay at Isle of Palms was great! The rental was exactly as promised. There were three different sets of check out procedures and we weren't sure which ones were required. The place is a little outdated inside, the decor, kitchen, and restrooms were all outdated. With a little updating the place could look really nice. The kitchen came furnished with dishes and cookware! We felt like the walk to the beach was about 7-8 minutes and it was a very convenient location.

Just okay at best
Clean the mold on the shower curtains and clean the table cloths under the lamps and the walls have things spilled on them. The mattresses in the double room were also poor :( The tv will not power on in the master bedroom Needs some updates and a deep clean -expected cleaner -blanket on master bed has stains that need washed. Wouldn’t re rent but it was a safe place to sleep

Lagoon villa
The property is very clean and organized. Some of the furniture could be updated and the kitchen is fairly well equipped. Nice to have a pool near by and the walk to the beach was very pleasant.

Our experience
The location was great. The property is very dated and definitely needs work and updating. Also when researching properties under VRBO the nightly rate is very deceiving. When you view the overall expense there’s a significant “owner’s fee” that basically adds on close to another’s night’s expense. It’s not that I was unaware because I could see it all once we got to the booking end of things I just feel it would be better to show it in the nightly expense. I feel this property was overpriced for what it was.

Threadbare decor, old and out dated
With 5 adults we were given 5 towels and 3 rolls of toilet paper for an entire weekend. When I checked in the pool key wasn’t attached so I haves to come back to the office through the beach traffic to retrieve it. I requested one additional detergent pod and some towels that never arrived.

Condo was clean and quiet and well appointed. It had everything we needed. The little balcony off the bedroom was a bonus! Check in and out were a breeze. We were able to take a nice daily walk around the grounds. Clever set up that gives everyone space.

A good experience.
Always lovely to be in Wild Dunes ! This rental has a simple, spacious floor plan--lots of room for a family and very clean. It's a really good location, close to the pavilion, bike rentals, etc. Some little tweaks would have made the weeks more comfortable: the bed was too high to get into. (82 year-olds have a hard time getting a running jump up!) Your brochure mentions a starter set of supplies. What we found was a roll of paper towels and some TP----(plenty of bath towels!) It would have been a big help to have had a trash bag, a dishwasher pellet, a dish cloth or sponge, etc. The plentiful supply of kitchen utensils did not include a knife sharp enough to cut a banana! What we usually find in a rental is enough in the pantry to get us through the first breakfast--tea bags, some coffee, a bit of sugar, etc. Overall, however, this was a great spot for a lovely retreat!

Nice location at a nice price. The condo itself is fairly basic but comfortable. The only draw backs I experienced are the pool was closed most of the week and another pool option was not available and the beach area directly across from the condo had two sets of broken stairs and was narrower than other areas. We were able to cut through and find a good set of stairs and I think the beach likely needs storm repairs.

A decent place to stay. 10 minute walk to beach. 5 min walk to hotel. 2 min to tennis.
Well kept and clean. Older unit with some updates. Perfectly functional for a beach trip. 2 bed and bath. Plenty of space. Nice big leaving room. Bring a hair dryer!! Everything else you need is there. About a 10 minute Walk to the beach. Alittle far if you've got small kids and need to carry stuff. We ended up driving and let husband unload and then me take car back and then I walked back. However, a quick walk -5 minutes -to the wild dunes hotel/restaurants/ice cream etc. and if you're a tennis person it's very close. A 2 minute walk. Hope this helps.

Wild Dunes - Excellent, Lagoon Villa Complex - Very Nice, Our Unit - Just OK
No question, WD is one of the best spots for a vacation. Lagoon Villas is well kept and very quite. Our unit....we have stayed in WD about 15 times over the last 25 yrs in every kind of property available. This unit was way less than average. Not bad by any means, just old & outdated. Every thing worked fine, no issues. But - King bed, very soft and sunk to the middle. The carpet may be original mid 1980's. Bathroom sinks are original as well, about mid thigh high. TV's....I get it, its the beach, and a rental, BUT, you can get a 50" HDTV at Walmart for $400...The 3 TV's in the unit didnt total 50"! Deck furniture...garage sale crap on a good day.

Nice Property
Overall nice property - clean and quiet - very comfortable beds. Bathrooms are a bit small. Master bedroom carpeting could be updated. It has separated at the thresholds making it uncomfortable on bare feet. Some of the plastic chairs in balcony were broken. We liked the quiet and the fresh clean feel. Especially nice to have the pool just a few steps away.
