Our stay had a rocky start upon arrival, reception couldn’t find our reservation and insisted it wasn’t made through Expedia, despite us showing proof through the app, including the receipt. After some back-and-forth, we were finally checked in, but unfortunately placed in the wrong room type.
To make up for the inconvenience, we were upgraded for the last two nights of our stay, which we appreciated.
Overall, the stay was okay. We were there for quite a while and ended up befriending many of the staff, who were kind, helpful, and really made a difference. That said, it was concerning to hear some of them express that they were being treated unfairly by their managers, which points to some internal issues within the hotel’s leadership.
While the upgrade and the wonderful staff were definite highlights, the initial mismanagement and check-in problems did leave a lasting impression
