Great location next to Sulhane park, tram station, Sirkeci local food area and walk to or take a tram to attractions. Great breakfast. Afternoon tea available. Great service.

Exquisite hotel experience

The hotel is quite clean and hotel staff are very helpful. Close to the tram stop Gülhane, it only takes 2 minutes walk to go to the hotel. The hotel location is really great. Situated between the Sirkeci and Sultanahmet, one can easily stroll to the Topkapi Palace, Sultanahmet area, Sirkeci train station and many other old town attractions. We stayed there for 6 nights and we will definitely come back.

If you want to see all the historical attractions in Istanbul that’s the best place to stay. Staff is very polite and over all experience was great.

Great Hotel in a great location! 5 stars!!! I stayed in a twin room my first night, and the regular room was just fine, thank you. However, because my wife was joining me, I upgraded to a top floor room with a balcony. It was worth the extra expense! The view was great! We both loved our stay! The location is fantastic… It’s on a quiet street in the historic old city. The wall of the palace is across the street… There are nearby gateways into Gulhane Park, which is where the Topkapi Palace and related museums are located. Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque are as close as a 15 minute walk. There is a tram stop on the corner in the direction of Hagia Sophia. In the other direction, another 10 minute walk will get you to the train station that was the terminus of the original Orient Express train. Across the street from the train station is the ferry terminal! Access to the rest of Istanbul could not be easier. If you’re in the mood, you can walk to the spice bazaar. Public transit is easy and efficient, and the hotel is well situated for exploring the area. We stayed 7 days and used only public transportation. We took ferries, trams, metro and busses. No need for taxis. Breakfast at the hotel was quite good and we got to know the staff. In particular, get to know the manager, Okay. He is good at his job, and had great advice for things to see and do, as well as how to leverage public transport. He is well connected and can also arrange tours, if you are so inclined.

Walking distance to several historical sites, a green park, the bhosphorous, surrounded by many cafes and restaurant. Friendly staff and good breakfast. Especially enjoyed the food tour offered by this hotel.

Loved our stay here. Our kids enjoyed the breakfast buffet, tea time, and the pool. It was a great location for visiting the old town sights. Staff had incredible hospitality. Highly recommend!
