“This place is awesome. I wish we had stayed longer. We stopped here for the night because it is the half way point for the Shimanami Kaido bike route. The residence was an independent structure with a large window looking out to the sea and the bridge. Sunrise was gorgeous. The unit has a beautiful bathroom, very nice bedroom and new clean kitchen. Everything about the residence was top-notch, including the amenities. The breakfast and dinner that we chose were amazing. Loved this place.……

“The property is very nice and well kept traditional Japanese home. I did hit my head being tall but it felt like the most "true" home I had my entire trip. Other guests were very polite and staff was lovely. Convenience store was 10 minute bike ride and they provided plenty of options for dinner if you asked well in advance. ”

“Just across the street to JR station, pier is just under the hotel, super convenient. Walkable distance to local temple and main shopping street. Seaview provided. Even have free massage chair provided. Only problem is the Wi-Fi is weak. Staff are nice and friendly. ”

“What a special experience! This is a glimpse of history with modern amenities and thoughtful staff. We had a triple room, which worked well for us as the sliding screens separated two sleeping areas. Breakfast was beautifully presented and delicious. Dinner options are very limited in the area, so consider reserving dinner at this property.”

“석식 조식 두 끼 포함된 숙박으로 묵었는데 밥이 정말 맛있어요. 시설이 다소 낡은 점, 방에는 화장실과 세면대만 있고 샤워와 목욕은 대욕장에서 하는 시스템인 것은 다소 불편하지만 전반적으로 깔끔하게 잘 관리되어 있고 그 나름대로 정취가 있습니다. 방에서 보이는 전망도 좋고요. 차를 이용할 수 있다면 근방에서 할 수 있는 가장 좋은 숙박 경험이라고 생각합니다.”

“ Very nice equipped and clean room. Some little considerate things, like umbrella, was very helpful. I also liked they chose wooden floor. Felt much cleaner than carpet ones. Close to the center of Onomichi, so it was easy to find places to eat or shop. The communication with staffs was smooth, and the check-in instructions were pretty clear. • Kitchen area was small, but I didn't cook during my stay so cannot really comment it.”
