Lied to by the Vacasa local team

I’ve already contacted you about this day. I had requested a late check out prior to making my reservation and after it was accepted, I assumed that my late would be honored. I have a conference that I was attending that didn’t end till noon and needed a 1230 check out. I also had a Pet with me actually a service animal. And I needed to leave them in the room during the conference. I contacted the local Vacasa team to make sure that they knew about the late checkout, that’s when I was contacted by their support who argued with me, miscommunicated with me, lied about contacting you directly, and also the person texting me told me that you could contact their general manager, who is actually the person who was texting me. It was all very odd. I actually had to leave the conference early because they did not give me a late check out and I had nothing I could do with my dog. I will be seeking a full reimbursement my day yesterday was ruined and I had to leave the conference early.

we enjoyed our stay in this villa! it was nice having the Omni close by to go grab a coffee in the morning. It was also nice to have beach access.

Confusion between verbo Amelia island realty and vacasa initially no record of my three payments ?creating a lot of stress for me . I was told I had to prove I had paid ? Mold musty smell had to empty dehumidifier every four hours because I am allergic to mold please respond my comments thank you

Great property!

Great proximity to beach. Great property. Pool was nice. Exactly as described. Sent a couple emails to property management company about two issues (dehumidifier and patio door latch) and never heard back. Also about a package that was accidentally left in the unit, also never heard back.

Great location

The property location is great. Literally a 2 min walk to the beach. The condo was lacking though, in serious need of some updates or refresh. However, the beds and linen were very comfortable.

quiet,cozy condo

Loved this condo, it is nestled between the live oaks in the Amelia Plantation. Beach access is just a short walk right across the street. Also, a Short walk to the other amenities, restaurants, spa on the resort without being near the crowds but the shuttle comes to the condo if needed. Well stocked kitchen, clean, beds are comfy, beach closet was well stocked as well and loved the option of renting the bikes if possible. Only thing that could probably be upgraded is the couch but still not a big deal. Price was great. Communication with owners prior to booking was always quick and thorough. Thank you to the Chenards for a lovely place to stay!

Nice Private Location in Omni Plantation

Everything was very nice and renovated. Stairs at the entrance to the building (to get to the elevator) are difficult to maneuver with luggage or for guests with difficulty walking.

Great condo in Amelia Island Plantation

This is my family's second time staying in the condos in the plantation. The condo's have a swimming pool in the back which is kept clean and the beach is a short walk away. The owner's of 2071 keep a closet stocked with beach gear for their guests to use which is a great touch. Would definitely stay in this condo again.

Needs a Deep Clean

This property is nice and relatively clean, but does need a little attention. It is upgraded quite tastefully as listed. It does not have ceiling fans, as it’s an early 80s build. It can get a bit stale without the airflow of a ceiling fan. The hall bathtub needs a deep clean. The shower head won’t move and is facing the shower wall. We didn’t want to force it and then it break so we just dealt with it. The tub also has some rust and staining to it. The master bed seemed grimy. Not sure what it was, but the sheets and bedding did not seem clean. Add in the lack of airflow and it was not enjoyable to sleep in. We were quite surprised there was no whisk or colander in the kitchen. Those two things are a kitchen staple. We’d have to agree with the angry review in February, the couch needs a DEEP CLEAN. The beach closet is super nice and handy and a major plus for this unit. We mostly enjoyed our stay with the exception of the dirty bathtub (we have tiny kids bathing in it), master bedding, and couch. Please be advised that although the listing says the unit is “adjacent to the beach,” it is not. It’s across the street. Not a deal breaker but definitely not as indicated by the word adjacent. There are also neighbors above that can be loud. This is definitely a great unit for a small family with older children.

The Smallest Detail Taken Care Of

Helen and Robin should be super hosts if they’re not there already. Our stay in their home was comfortable, relaxing, and we left with refreshed minds and spirits. The home was fully appointed and the only thing we needed to purchase was food. Bikes are available for an additional fee which we would recommend. There are bike trails all over the island and riding under a canopy of Live Oak‘s with Spanish moss is stunning. If you are looking to work on your tan and prefer an activity, riding on the beach is also possible. The sand is hard enough that you may even drive on the beach with a permit in some areas if that something that you would like to do. Of course if you prefer to just to sit and relax under a beach umbrella in a chair, those items are also provided for your use. The pool is an excellent way to cool off after spending a day at the beach and the two flights of stairs leading down to the pool is exquisite as it too is covered by palms and oaks. Our daughter kept saying she expected a dinosaur to peak out of the foliage everywhere she went because the area was so verdant and green. Of course you will end your day back in the condo where you can curl up in one of the most comfortable sofas we’ve sat on, cook a meal and eat at a very spacious dining room table. Or not, as there are plenty of restaurants to choose from. We did spend one night at the veranda restaurant and would highly recommend it. My husband and I are both in the food and beverage industry and it was some of the best service we have experienced as well as great food. Our family would highly, highly, highly recommend this property for your vacation use.

Perfect Getaway

Our experience from booking to check out was great. Owners were quick to respond with any questions. Nice unit inside the plantation with easy access to walking paths, The beach and Omni Hotel. We truly enjoyed our stay. Would love to return.
