Winter in Fernandina Beach
Great stay! Comfortable bed, and everything needed to cook meals instead of going out all the time. Gave location four stars only because the neighborhood is transitioning to be more upscale and so you hear some construction noise as people are building. Not too early or too late though :) Easy walk to the lovely historic district and wonderful downtown shops and restaurants.

Great home away from home!
Quiet neighborhood with the advantage of being walkable to downtown. Short bike or car ride to the beach. The house is really well laid out and nicely updated. I really enjoyed my stay and the owner was really helpful answering questions and making sure I was happy!

Love Fernandina Beach
We absolutely had a wonderful time! Jane & Cameron are great hosts. Their lovely Farmhouse is exactly has pictured and described. We enjoyed walking to dinner in downtown historic Fernandina Beach and biking all over Amelia Island. We can’t wait to return!!

Clean, Quaint, and undeniably Homely
This home is exactly as pictured, and was perfect for our family of 3. Its charming and cozy decor made it feel like home. Spend your days biking (we recommend Riptide - they deliver), walking, shopping, beaching, or playing, and come home to an outfit kitchen, BBQ, picnic table, bonfire, and string lights, and just enjoy everything this beautiful Island has to offer. What we liked most about this place, was its location. It is a mere 5 minute walk to downtown, 8 minute walk to the marina, 10 minute cycle to the beach, and just a short walk to 2 great parks for the littles! There is also something you get by staying amongst neighbours that you don't get in subdivisions, complexes, and gated communities, and that is the community, the culture! We waved, and got to meet some of the locals; we saw them go about their routine day in and day out, and that really added to our experience of the Island, in travelling here. It truly felt like home. Jane and Cameron were endlessly helpful, and undeniably homely - excellent hosts. Right from my first interaction with them, we knew we were going to enjoy our time at the Organic Farmhouse. They went above and beyond to accommodate us, from the thoughtful details in the unit, to the friendly communications, and beyond. The space was very well thought out, and carefully decorated. Immaculately clean. Quiet, and cozy. Convenient and enjoyable. We would be pleased to stay here again! Things to note: - The second bedroom is a single bed, that turns into a King if needed. Very handy for us when we had a friend join us for a few days. - Jane and Cameron (temporarily) live in the back unit, so they are easy to reach if you need anything. They were extremely considerate of space, and privacy, and they are very quiet. It was nice to have familiar faces around. - You really don't need a vehicle while you are here, everything is very easy to get to. Riptide Bike Rentals delivers and Shuttles are always going to and from the Island from the airport. - Publix via instaCart delivers right to your door, so it makes grocery shopping a breeze. Order through the app, and they will be at your door in hours. - The unit had throw blankets for extra warmth, a hammock for the front yard, candles to light, ceiling fam and AC for warmer days, tons of cleaning products, hangers, quality flatware, dinnerware, and seating, so believe me when I say it has everything you need!
