The pros: The staff was amazing…very pleasant and eager to help. The restaurant staff especially was great (Jelsin E.) Also, our room was clean (although small) and the reception area clean and well maintained. The cons: The pool areas were not maintained or cleaned often. Chairs broken and dirty, cement crumbling, and the area around the large pool it’s not very nice with sparse grass and plastic chairs. Makes the hotel look cheap. The food also was not very good. It was mostly tasteless and some was cold. The snack bar food was absolutely awful. Drinks were watered down. Hotel is understaffed and we had to wait in line at reception every day for bottled water and beach towels. There was no no one on site to help with excursions The main thing that needs MAJOR improvement is the food.

Let’s start off by saying this has been the worst resort I have ever been to. First off when I arrived they gave me a room with broken Air conditioning so they downgraded my room for the night and when I tell you that room was horrible tv didn’t work and the few channels you did get were all in Spanish . Next thing is the property details speak of 24 hour shuttle but are charging $150 to get you back and forth to the airport so about $300 just for an airport shuttle . This place is way over priced for what is being provided I don’t recommend coming here and the food was a 3/10 I will not be coming back here

This property is very generous with their check out time. They allowed us to check out at the appropriate time and also allowed us to stay at the property for lunch and use their amenities until 3pm. The food and drinks options were different every day and they tasted so good. When I visit Jaco again, I am definitely staying here.

Staff worked hard at keeping things clean and for the most part was very friendly. The low rating is because there were two days that my luggage was gone through and the desk lady (in training) did not seem to care too much about it. When we arrived to our room the air conditioner did not work. They did not have a room for us that was similar to what we needed. They have not refunded us our money because we then had to go find another hotel that night. We have been calling the resort and the employees keep hanging up on us. If you want good customer service do not come here.

My room lacked a bath towel when I checked in. Tried calling with the room phone but no ring tone. Made a trip downstairs to front desk and they told me the phones in entire hotel rooms were not working. They said I would need to come down if I needed something. Room side table was sticky (not cleaned well). The shower knob was flimsy and slow to provide cold water.

for the price you pay the property is Nice. All the staff was helpful and accommodating which made the stay enjoyable. checking in and out was easy and hassle free. we were the only black people on the resort but I never once felt unsafe/ unaccepted by the staff members which was nice. the food at the resort could've been a bit better on some occasions but overall wasn't bad. the views of the sunset and easy and access to the beach was very nice. the location is vey ideal, everything was walking distance to the strip where there are clubs, restaurants, and convenience stores. overall a great stay for families, friends, or even solo travelers on a budget.
