“Had a wonderful stay at the Shangri-La Mountain Retreat! Not a stretch to say one of the best stocked rental homes ever I've ever booked. We stayed two nights with three families including kids ranging from 2-12 years old. Everything you could ask for was available for cooking in the kitchen with more than enough glasses and tableware in excellent condition. There is a high quality gas range which was wonderful if you like to make meal. The hosts had just installed a new grill which we used to……

“We have stayed twice at this property, both times over a Presidents weekend. The rental cost is a good deal. 3 bedrooms and a big backyard for kids. Keep in mind no forced air heating or air conditioning. Wood burning stove and fans. The kitchen is small but very workable. Two of the bedrooms have good beds, one has a mattress that really should be replaced. I like this spot, it's very convenient, very affordable, we'll likely come again!”

“A few issues like the TV not connecting, coffee pot didn't work, telescope non functioning. But a cabin is a cabin not having a TV was maybe a good thing,”

“ Flicking the light switches by the door didn't turn on the light. We arrived after dark and had to use a flashlight to see where the next light switch was. There were no instructions how to re-lock the electronic lock, and we ended up leaving the door unlocked all weekend. Otherwise, it was a nice, quiet, peaceful weekend, and everything went well.”
