“The house is, technically, as described but there are a few design issues that made it hard to use. The ladder, which is needed to access the loft, blocks the bathroom door. So if you have it in place for climbing, it has to be moved to open the loo door, then moved back to climb back up again. We have stayed in tiny houses before and found them easier to maneuver around. Which would be fine but at this price it should be somewhat more comfy. Caveat Emptor”

“Great host! This two bedroom out building on a small farm is located 20 minutes from Antigonish is a fabulous find. Clean very comfortable furniture and beds. BBQ on deck. Great space for a family to stay while visiting ST FX university. ”

“Our group included three young people (ages 18-22) and all of us were incredibly impressed with the lodging itself - a whole charming house - and especially with the location, near the lovely town of Antigonish and very near to a fantastic 4 km long beach (Pomquet Beach) with seals, fir trees, spectacular sunsets, etc. We went in January - not a time in Nova Scotia for the timid - and the house was warm and cozy and the host had the driveway plowed for us as soon as we asked. The house itself……

“Paul and Heidi are fantastic hosts. We were greeted by 2 friendly dogs and Paul offered us delicious Lobster bisque and freshly cooked lobsters upon revival. The kitchen is well equipped with everything thing you need. The view is fantastic. This is the perfect place to relax and recharge your mind and body. If you like relaxing vacations with great views and sunsets I cannot recommend Paul’s place enough. ”
