“John was an absolute legend of a host. Always available to answer questions or give suggestions! The house is beyond well equipped with anything you could want for your stay, it truly felt like a vacation with the level of amenity and to-do on site. The location of the house is perfect to explore various different areas and attractions along the eastern shore, if you ever want to leave the property that is! We’ll absolutely be renting again!”

She had our golf cart delivered to Idol Hour and our Smith Island Strawberry cake was in the refrigerator waiting for us. We loved Idol Hour and would stay again. “Our family stayed for a week at this amazing secluded property. We have stayed at many rentals up and down the Eastern Shore as well as the Outer Banks and this was the cleanest house we have ever stayed in. The location was quiet and peaceful and the dock and screened in porch were where we spent most of our time. The screened in porch was a great spot to relax, eat meals, and play board games. The view was incredible and we launched our boat at the marina right down the street and had it……

The view of the lake was breathtaking, the property was quiet and inviting with plenty of space for celebrating. We came to attend the Crab and Cruise experience which was a short drive from tge property. The surrounding city was quaint and friendly.”
