“The location is excellent, just outside the north entrance to Yellowstone. It is on the main street but not too busy or noisy. There is a balcony off the main level that fronts on the river, a wonderful space to sit outside. There is also a large patio off the lower level, complete with a propane fire pit, a dining table and chairs, and propane grill. The house is clean, beds/bedrooms are comfortable, the layout is open and easily accommodated our group of 5 plus a small child. The grocery store……

“This was the perfect size place to stay for the two of us. The cottage is so beautifully decorated and comfortable. We found ourselves ending the nights on the recliner chairs catching up after a long day in Yellowstone hiking. All of the restaurants and downtown shops are just across the bridge from the home and we walked to dinner both nights. The bed is on the separate side of the cottage from the kitchen and table which made it great for me to get up early and be in a separate area with my……

The property was an easy drive outside Gardiner and worked well for us to drive back to Lamar Valley each day. The unit and beds were very comfortable. “Awesome place – location was everything. Nice to drink coffee on the deck overlooking the Yellowstone river. Beautiful view of the mountains in the park. Saw elk in town or from our balcony every day. The little bookshop and Café right in front of the place was delicious. It was just my husband and I, so we had plenty of room. Grocery store was walking distance.”

“Most perfect lodging for Yellowstone. From the first email I sent with a ton of questions Susan responded immediately to it and all the follow up. Always completely through in her responses. It is great when you are dealing directly with an owner that lives almost next to property. the property was spotless and incredible views. Kitchen the best we've ever had in rental, everything was there you could possible need. So much room inside and outside. the views in the pictures do not do it justice,……

“Excellent facility with everything you need for a pleasant carefree stay. This place had more room than we needed and it was very comfortable. Lots of interesting decorations and a beautiful garden. Gardiner itself could use some better eatery solutions. The vegetarian in our group had little to no options and there was always a long wait to eat at supper time. Food shopping was limited too. Bring you own groceries and use the generously equipped kitchen at the cabin. ”
