“Beautiful place, peaceful surroundings, with great views. This property lives up to its name, "Deer Haven Lodge". Deer roam the grounds freely. The house is cozy, well maintained and organized, and has beautiful decor. The owner provided necessary information, and we were able to communicate with her throughout our stay. We had a great time. Shopping, kayaking, paddle boarding, bobsledding & curling in Lake Placid; a hike & whitwater raft ride at Ausable Chasm, hiking to the top of Whiteface and a day in Canada - there was something for everyone.”

“The property needs a wee bit of a spruce up. The house is great for family--but it does need to be spruced up a bit. Dated with the curtains and peeling wall paper and stickers. The space it self is ideal. The outside does need a mow but it is the beginning of the season. The gazebo outside is a great feature---needs a little TLC. Perhaps we were the first renters of the season---it is a good place.”

“The property is clean it has a lovely view. We will stay again when the weather is nicer. The only complaint I have, it is not really a complaint, but the front door does not close properly, but maybe due to all the rain/moisture. But we loved it here”
