“My family loved our stay at this cozy home on the lake. The views of Porter Lake are stunning and nothing beats having your morning coffee while watching the sun rise up over the lake and listening to the loons say good morning. Being able to kayak or canoe out onto the lake for fishing or exploring the nearby beach was great. My boys found a little island with a rope swing for jumping into the lake and spent a lot of time there having fun. I personally enjoyed floating on the raft chair during……

“This property is a jewel. This is where they should have filmed "On Golden Pond." It is very private, yet only 20 minutes from I-95 and major supermarkets, etc. If you are looking for piece and quiet, security, a delightfully private pond and a stunning view of the opposite, natural, shoreline with no other cottages, this is your place! Beds are very comfortable with good quality linens and blankets. Kitchen is well equipped and the appliances are of very good quality. Plenty of wood is supplied……

“This property was so peaceful and quiet. It sits on a large lot with lots of privacy. The walk down to the dock is fun for kids, lots of rocks and it’s a little trail. We spent most of our time down at the dock. The views were spectacular, beautiful reflections in the water each morning, calm quiet lake and the sunset right in front of us each night. It wasn’t buggy and we used the kayak, but wear water shorts bc it does take in some water. We also brought our own paddle board and would highly……

“This is our second time staying here. We were super sad to see the cabin was for sale since there’s a good possibility new owners may not use it as a rental. Our son goes to Colby and we fell in love with this cabin and decided there was no need to look for another for the next 3 years of his schooling if we didn’t need to. I guess we will wait to see. Our only gripe is that the speakers on the TV are blown so we had to turn the sound down to avoid the rumbling drowning out everything. We were……
