“Great property, a true NOLA Shotgun home. I was very quiet and comfortable with all the standard comforts. Had a pocket door to close while doing laundry. Great to walk along the Mississippi, very close. Had a chance to watch the local puppet show on the green by the river. ”

There were some fun and unique local suggestions to check out when we decided we wanted something other than the French Quarter. The space has a full kitchen, interesting books, and even a couple of games like Uno. Mike was friendly but unobtrusive (the best of both worlds). I definitely appreciated being able to do my laundry during our trip as well. We'd stay there again in a heartbeat! ”

“We loved this unique house! We found it clean and in good repair, and it had all the things we needed. It's on the edge of the gentrified Garden District; the immediate streetscape is a little tired, but we never felt unsafe and it's an easy walk to a variety of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. Also walkable to the French Quarter, WW2 Museum, Mardi Gras World, and the beautiful homes in the Garden District.Parking is tight if you have a big car, but parking on the street right in front of……

“The pictures of the unit are as pretty much as advertised. The ceilings and the decorations are gorgeous. However, there are several spots in the living room along the wall that need to be touched up and the record player/radio does not work (there are no needles for the record player). While the unit was fairly clean - the light colored towels that were provided were dirty/dingy. We ended up buying a set of towels at Walmart. Additionally, there was an army of ants in the kitchen which……

“Nice neighborhood close to shopping and fast food restaurants. About a 3 plus mile drive to French Quarter.”

“Worked very well for my family. 3 bedrooms on main level and 2 upstairs. The stairs to 2nd level are kind of steep. Both bathrooms are nicely appointed and on first level. One is ensuite with the main bedroom. TV's in every bedroom.The host was helpful throughout every part of the process.”

“The property appealed to us because we are a group of 7 longtime girlfriends that gather at a different destination once a year to catchup with each other. There were enough beds for us and a living and kitchen area that made it easy for us to share our stories.
