“On the down side: It's VERY dark in the house. Other than kitchen & bath, lighting is poor. Walls are all dark which attributes to the lighting issue. The house is too beautiful to have such a gloomy look. Poor instructions from owner. Unable to discard trash as garage was locked. Unfamiliar with propane, I could only get one burner to work on the stove. No cleaning supplies were available for me to use if needed. Bring a wand if you want to watch television. Wish we knew that. On the up side:……

“My husband and I did a long weekend away for our anniversary. Neither of us have ever been to Vermont so we figured we’d give it a try. The property is as described. Its a beautiful house, extremely clean, kitchen was very well stocked, and the house was extremely comfortable. Did not realize there was no TV completely missed that in the description however we did have my iPad and a speaker so we were able to watch TV. There is not much to do in the area in May however unless you have good days……

“The house is very conveniently located to many restaurants and other convenience.We stayed for 3 weeks as a family of 5 and the house never really felt "too small" despite being snowed in for a few days. We visited for most of January during Heavy snow! Price Chopper, the closest grocery, is surprisingly well stocked with name brand items at, as the name suggests, good prices. It was our favorite nearby location for groceries, but we Also went to Healthy Living quite often as it's where there is……

“Wow what a nice neat place. Very clean, a HEATED bathroom floor!! Nice size yard totally fenced. Very nice neighborhood, felt safe. The owner sent information needed in a timely manner, was very quick to respond to my emails and very accommodating for our needs. Only 11 mins from the Vermont flower show in Essex junction. Restaurants close by. Beds were comfortable too!”

The house is very well designed and accommodates our very large extended family, with plenty of rooms for sleeping and great open spaces to sit and talk. Wonderful views!The host is easy to communicate with and was very responsive. Planning to return to this property again.”
