“We were a group of three older women looking for a clean comfortable rental to use as home base as we explored the region. The house was idyllic, overlooking hills of sunflowers and flax. It was beautiful, serene and each evening we had a glass of wine and enjoyed the view. The pool was essential as there was a heat wave during our stay and it cooled us down every evening. “Initially we were disappointed by the property, which is very simple and basic, especially the way it is furnished - a pity really as the main room is large and would be transformed with a couple of decent sofas. But the bathroom and kitchen are modern and good quality, and it was adequately equipped for cooking, and the washing machine was useful. The main issue is the proximity to the road, which is above the terrace area and has noisy traffic. But the bedroom at the back of the property was……
