"Older property with nice upgrades. Chairs a little shabby but bed fine (a tad hard and bouncy, but slept great). A solid 4.5 stars. Just a tad on the old and worn out is minor, largely unimportant ways. We enjoyed our stay!"

"We extended our trip from Utah one day longer to make a detour and see the Painted Hills o. Our way home to the Oregon Coast. We made a last minute reservation in John Day and chose this hotel. Check in was quick and easy and the gentlemen behind the counter was friendly…he even gave me some Lindor ..."
