“Really nice cottage. Great location. Quiet. Langley is fun. Would go go back, but: I booked with VRBO, then got handed off to Vacasa as the property manager. Way more hoops to go through than any other VRBO booking I've done. They were responsive, but demanding. Maybe good for the owner, a pain for me. Next time I book with VRBO and get handed to Vacasa I will cancel. The cottage is really nice. ”

This property gives you an absolute front row view of Useless Bay on Double Bluff that does not disappoint! THINGS TO KNOW IN ADVANCE!!!We loved our stay, but this property, but it may not be the best choice for those with mobility issues! This home is literally perched on Double Bluff which gives you incredible views, but this requires that you climb up 54 stairs from the beach……

“My family and I had a wonderful time at this property! We seriously could have just stayed here the entire time and never went anywhere else and would have been perfectly happy. We even saw a porpoise and a couple of harbor seals while sitting out on the deck. We took a couple of day trips to hike around Deception Point and kayak on San Juan Island using the ferry (super convenient!). We would definitely stay here again! Thanks for a great stay!”

Had to watch check-in lock video, fireplace took 2 hours to come on first 2 times, then it was fine, toilet would not flush at first then learned to pull up handle to fill it, no garage door opener, so gave to go in front door, go downstairs, open garage door, back car in, then close manually, reverse process to leave. Took awhile to find towels, etc. Other than that, kitchen was great, heaters worked well, great location & clean, great……

“Our stay was wonderful! The house is even nicer in person than the photos show. Everything was clean, well-organized, and abundantly stocked. Elisabeth was easy to communicate with and always responded promptly. Only thing to be wary of could be the level changes between some of the rooms if you have little ones. That didn’t occur to us when booking but could be problematic if you have an adventurous crawler.”
