Check in was nice but things went downhill from there. Room was not as expected (they later told me I reserved a "Studio" rather than a Suite. I didnt know there was a "Studio" option so that was my mistake. Its a much smaller space.) The service at the attached restaurant (Houlihans) was awful. (1.5 hours wait from seating to food delivery, wrong salad dressing served, food was not hot and they overcharged us on 2 items. The waiter did correct the ticket when we pointed it out) hotel hot tub was "out of order", you could get in the warm water but, no bubbles. Breakfast was okay, not great.
Staff did ask for feedback during the evening and quickly replied to my observations but there was really nothing for them to do at that point. Although I didnt ask, they did offer consideration of adding points to my Hilton Honors account. (I havent checked on that yet.)
After staying at many Embassy Suites, in several states, over several years, this was definitely NOT the Embassy Suites experience we were expecting.
