“The location is great, very secluded and private. Amazing views right out the bedroom window. Has that remote cabinet feel on the inside. It's about an hour away from Bar Harbor which was perfect for us to make a day trip down there.Also local oysters and lobster are abundant. The only thing that wasn't amazing was the shower, it was either way too hot or way too cold, should be a simple fix to switch the controls.”

“I can't say enough good things about this place. My husband and our two pups stayed here for a week for our 10 year anniversary and had the BEST time. The house has everything you could ever desire and was WELL equipped for cooking lobster meals at home as well as very pet friendly with a basket of toys our pups loved to rummage through. Everything is exactly as pictured; kitchen well stocked, very clean, SUPER comfortable master bed & couches, good communication with host/manager, and beautiful……

“It’s name says it all. A perfectly sized, literal “bed room” in the middle of the woods. The fire pit had wood all ready for me to use. If you were to come in the winter, the tiny home has a wood stove to use as well.”

“We stayed at the Dome Home for a quiet weekend away. This is the first VRBO that we took our dogs with, excuse the owner allowed pets. It was so great having them with us. My husband and I loved the comfortable king size bed and my kids loved the bunk beds. The kitchen and bathroom are separate from the Dome Home which was perfect for me because I got quiet, alone time while cooking. Perfect for moms! A farmer's porch to sit on and have your coffee while watching the lobster boats go in and out of the bay. The home is located on a sparsely populated peninsula perfect for de-stressing. “We loved this place on Orange Lake. Such a cute cabin and relaxing. The living area looked out onto the lake and the kitchen were incredibly well stocked with everything we needed and then some. We spent an evening by the fire pit staring at the lake at sunset; they provided ample firewood. Patsy and Ken were great, responsive hosts. This was the first leg of our trip through Maine, and by the end, we were wishing we’d spent two more days at the Orange Lake cabin.”
