Stayed here for our wedding in the honeymoon house. It was gorgeous , quiet, convenient and plenty of street parking. Breakfast is phenomenal!

Breakfast was really lovely, staff was friendly, rooms were charming. Lots of PCT hikers from around the world stay here, for fun morning company. I'd recommend it to anyone staying in Julian.

We had a perfect "stress busting" mini road trip and time in Julian! How lucky I am to have an 18 year-old who likes to spend time with me! The "daffys" were a BIG bonus. We'll be back!

Room was clean. The experience with the staff was Mostly positive. The person I was traveling with had Some awkward expediences with some of the staff When she had some simple requests. The room was ok. (Small), importantly it was very clean and relatively quiet . The shower was incredibly small. Parking is a big challenge. ( you should consider that when booking.) lastly not a problem, the property does cater to a lot of PCT hikers , so expect plenty of backpackers.

Multiple issues: the mattress was older and had little support. Had a sore back in the morning as a result. The room looked like it was remodeled to have a closet converted to a shower and toilet with extremely tight room to move. The sink to wash your hands looked it was in another converted closet across the room. I didn’t like the fact I have to manuever around the bed to the other side to wash my hands after using the rest room. No tv in the room which I haven’t seen before in a hotel. The shower had a different way to get the water flowing and there was no instruction on how to use it. When I asked the front desk they couldn’t help me. They sent up the owner who wasn’t open to listening to what my problem was. Once I stopped her and explained what was happening she then told me how to get the shower to work. Not very open to feedback either and was kinda unpleasant when I offered it.

Stayed here one night With my boyfriend and we absolutely loved it! They offer apple cider in the early evening, followed by game nights and serve a delicious breakfast. The staff is very polite! I will be staying here again soon 😊
