“The house and property were exactly as described and just what we were looking for. Morning coffee by the river was very enjoyable and the weather was great so we had dinner on the deck. The space was very clean, cozy and comfortable. ”

“This cabin was a lovely little place to spend a few days exploring the surrounding park and activities. The setting was picturesque with the river so close. Luckily, some of the best hiking is very near the cabin (Glen Creek Area), but the other hiking areas are about 30 minutes away and all the best restaurants are in Fayetteville. Since the park is so spread out along the New River, you can't be close to everything, so this was fine for us. The cabin was clean as can be. The shower temp……

“Beautiful Location. Pleasantly surprised with the kitchen being stocked with many amenities, very friendly neighbor who welcomed us on arrival & made us feel like we were arriving home.”

“We arrived late at night in the rain, and although the directions had told me there was a keyless entry, the key box by the front door threw me off, and we struggled with that for a minute before I remembered the email. lol Removing that might be a good idea. The cabin was clean, but we did have to contact the owner for more towels, because there were only 2 for 3 adults, and there were only sheets for the pullout couch/bed, no blanket. The response was immediate, though. The most precious soul……

“Plenty of room to spread out. Fabulous river riew and front porch.”

“We were meeting family from SC and MI and this was right in the middle!Location was right off 2 major highways so easy to get to. “We stayed for two nights on our trip back from Savannah to break up the drive and check out new river gorge park. House worked well for our group of six. Owners did a beautiful job of updating the amenities while maintaining the old house charm. This property is not for everyone but we really enjoyed checking out some of the old books, framed letters, and other items. “Cabin was located perfectly about 20- 30 minutes from Winterplace. The Cabin was clean and cozy. We had an issue with the fireplace but they came right over to fix it. Very friendly. ”

We were please that the night manager resolved a mistake we made on the dates and worked with you to resolve our problem and even saved us money. We would consider staying at microtel again. ”

“Staff was very efficient and friendly. Breakfast staff was awesome- very friendly and kept breakfast items stocked. The only critique I would give is that the property is older and could use some remodeling/upgrades. Overall room mostly clean. There were a couple of hairs in the bathroom sink and the soap dish had not been cleaned. A couple of small stains on the comforter. Otherwise clean. ”
