Ten of us including aunts and uncles and nieces and nephews had plenty of room at the house to get ready for the wedding, and to gather for snacks and games in the kitchen afterwards. “This is the perfect place for a girl’s trip or family getaway! The property is gorgeous with lots of room for outdoor activities. If the weather doesn’t permit, the house is spacious and filled with activities such as board games, instruments if your family or friends are musically inclined, books, and television. “Lovely cabin. Decorated simply and welcoming. Upper loft was loved by our 15 year old. Plenty of room for three of us. “We have been here before. This is our second stay. We love the tin roof cabin. We call it the girl scout cabin because of the layout of the beds but we heard it used to be a nunery. Either way it is a spectacular property. We were traveling with all of our children and spouses. We love The Abbey Kitchen, Elephant Rocks, Johnsons Shut-Ins, and new this time we rafted with Parks Bluff. A great trip. Two things; the listing says toaster and we didn't see one. Also the air wasn't working……

There had been a water issue at the plant so the town was under a boil order, our host was most accommodating making sure we had plenty of bottled water to make our stay stressless. “My family of 14 people needed a place for all of us to stay for the holidays. The twin turrets was a great fit for what we needed. Everyone had their own bed, the bathrooms took a little time to get showers scheduled, since there are only 2 showers, but it worked out. The home was fun to explore inside and out. We went for some walks on the trails, enjoyed watching the ducks and geese, or just looking out at the lake. So peaceful! ”
