“Excellent small hotel and restaurant/bar. Rooms are large and really well designed in a historic building. We had the room with a kitchen and it had really good cooking extract piped to the outside. This might sound trivial but you will never forget the night you cooked in the same room as you sleep when there is no extract. ”

“We were met on time by our host who showed us the apartment and explained everything. Well equipped kitchen and nice bedrooms. Very good value for the money.”

“Joseba ontving ons heel vriendelijk en gaf via de app allerlei tips over restaurants. Het appartement was heel.schoon en ruim. Er hangt een grote tv en er staat een fijn bankstel. Het is een rustige buurt en alle mooie steden van het Baskenland zijn binnen 1 tot 1,5 uur bereikbaar. Vitoria is dichtbij.”

“This cottage is actually newly built, very clean, modern design and well-stocked. I found it to be a great location to visit many places in the Basque region ranging from coast to city to mountains. It was nice not to have to drive out and back in to a city every day. I would stay here again. ”

“Een mooi groot huis met 2 slaapkamers en 2 badkamers. Een aantal deuren klemmen op de grond en gaan niet helemaal open, het duurt wel 10 minuten voordat er warmwater in de badkamer is, verder een fijn huis met prachtig uitzicht.”

“Once you enter the apartment you get a wow factor. The sense of old and new combined with heritage preserved as best possible. Well appointed kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms. And a comfortable lounge area. However the location was extremely disappointing and did not meet our requirements, very less than desirable acquaintances loitering the streets immediately outside the property and local streets made for very uncomfortable experiences. It made our stay uncomfortable and resulting in us……

“This was a great find in a wonderful small town just outside Bilbao. The hosts couldn’t have been more helpful and welcoming. The place was very comfortable with a very quick walk into the town, with easy parking, and quick access to nearby buses and trains into Bilbao. Would recommend. ”

“Al ver las fotos esperábamos estar en una casa con una chimenea muy bonita, pero cuando llegamos nos dijeron que la chimenea no se podía usar, que estaba anulada. Además de la foto, la casa sale cuando buscas casas en Frías con chimenea. Deberían corregir esto y eliminar la foto del dosier de la casa. Por lo demás, la casa muy bonita y bien equipada, y la zona tiene una muy merecida visita.”

“Rober and his wife are very kind and supportive and gave us a lot of hints for locations to visit. The perfectly clean house provides everything we needed during 9 days for a comfortable stay, especially as we prepared our own meals. We enjoyed to drink a fresh lemon from the garden and sit in front of the house, looking at the splendid mountain panorama in front of us. Many thanks for this nice and relaxing stay, regards, A & C”
