“The house was wonderful. It was immaculate. The kitchen was fantastic. It was located near things we wanted to do. It was delightful sitting on the porch. The only problem was the road to get in and the parking. We are in our 80s and found turning the car around on the steep gravel road with the cliff on one side very difficult. Fortunately, our granddaughter came to stay with us. We used her car. Unfortunately, she had to leave a day early so we left when she did.”

“We stayed while our Black Mountain home was closing. The surroundings - woods, mountains - were perfection. We just needed to relax and the cottage - extremely cozy with a full kitchen, leather furniture we melted in, comfortable beds, updated bathroom - satisfied our wants. I had to work remotely and never experienced an internet issue. “Fantastic property and accommodating, very nice, and flexible hosts. The fire pit and back porch areas were the family favorites. The surrounding trees are beautiful. Only minor notes are that it is really 3 bedrooms, one with an attached sleeping bunk loft. While there are other sleeping areas in the house, they aren’t true bedrooms. The road in was also a bit of a surprise as it is a bumpy gravel road, we were ok with this, but one family member had a nicer sedan that they were nervous about……

“We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin! The views were magnificent and very relaxing. The cabin has a fully stocked kitchen which made it easy while preparing our meals. The bedrooms were also fully stocked (no need to bring extra bedding). The property is located a good distance away from shopping, so it is best to bring your own provisions when first arriving.
