“My family of 4 stayed at this property and were impressed by the rooms and the location. It was a little difficult to find but this was one of the reasons we liked it. We were greeted by james, the owner who was very friendly and helpful. At short notice he made us a lovely 3 course meal that was very tasty and good value for money. “I stayed at Kaliwa Lodge for 4 nights and was impressed by the tranquil and peaceful environment. The terrace is a great place to watch the sacred Mountain Kilimanjaro at different times of the day, and be connected to the nature. I brought along my yoga mat to practise on the terrace every morning. Food is great too, they prepared wonderful vegetarian food for me on request everyday. Staff is very nice and treat every guest with their heart. I really enjoyed staying at Kaliwa Lodge. ”
