“We stayed at the 1 bedroom suite. It was perfect for a couple like us on a short stay. The view is second to none looking out North of Paihia across to Russell. You can watch the boats, ferries and yachts from the deck as well as from inside the suite. There is no oven, however there are 2 hobs to cook on. The entire unit is pristine and represents excellent value for money.”

“The location, just a block from the harbor, was excellent. The room was spacious, and the kitchenette well stocked. The decor was not fancy, but we were comfortable and felt at home, which helped make our stay excellent.”

“The home is as described and provided everything we needed for your stay. The welcome basket was a lovely surprise and the home was very clean and spacious. The host provided Nespresso coffee pods which made for a quick cup of coffee to enjoy on the deck each morning. ”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Beachfront Escape. It's perfect for a couple to relax and get away from it all. With a view of Tapeka Beach and the bay, it's very peaceful. The wraparound porch is great for relaxing. If it gets windy, just move to another side. The kitchen is well furnished, everything we needed to cook at home some nights. Other nights, Restaurants in Russell are just 2km away. Lots of sliding doors to let in the fresh air. We didn't need heat or air conditioning.”

“We loved our stay - the cabin is beautifully decorated with everything you need - including great bedside lights. Away from the crazy bustle of the town. The view was absolutely stunning - both of the Bay of Islands and the bush. Even got visited by a Morepork one night :). Loved it here - would highly recommend.”
