“Great little place to stay and so close to the amazing beach!!!! We had a little unit with a bunny bed and double bed. Little microwave and a little “ island” tha theme dishes,kettle. Etc…. The brash was steps away. And behind the hotel/ park is a really really good restaurant so there was no need to walk or drive anywhere. Cute little place to stay right on the beach. Loved it. ”

“ The bath was absolutely stunning!!—easily one of the highlights of the trip, was also surprised by hot water for tea, the crackers on the table, hummus AND with the Whitakers chocy bar in the fridgeThere was plenty of space to stretch out and relax, both inside and out, with thoughtful design touches throughout. And that canopy bed!! A dream!Was comfortable, private and relaxing—highly recommend :)”

“Plum Tree Cottage will exceed any reasonable expectations.It is not large, but it is very well laid out, and was comfortable for the two of us and a small dog, with plenty of space and storage for our 7 day stay. This is more than an an average batch in the bush. The quality of the building, fit-out, facilities, maintenance, and attention to smallest details was impeccable, and the ever changing view across the manuka and wetlands to the Mangawhai estuary and hills beyond made the stay……

“Great stopover, lovely clean and quiet room with good facilities and nearby shops and eating places. Only criticism was slippery flooring in wet room after showering (great shower). There was a slip mat provided but maybe floor could be non slip coated. Otherwise super place for a stopover.”
