Located in a residential neighborhood 10 mins from the airport & very quiet.Note it is not currently (a/o Feb) fully air-conditioned. “After having stayed twice before without incident, I had a misunderstanding with the host. On the positive side, this apartment has a nice, well-equipped kitchen, a spacious living room and porch, and a large, but tricky to operate shower. On the negative side, the driveway is steep, and the parking very tight and limited. The towels smell of mildew. The coqui frogs are so loud at night that you have to sleep with earplugs and the windows closed. You will be staying beneath the home of real……

“The studio was private, clean, and offered nice amenities. You can tell a lot of care and attention to detail went into the place. The owners were very responsive. We felt very welcome when we arrived, finding a treat and local music playing. The Plumeria cottage was a great place for our two night stay in Kona and had everything needed for someone staying longer. Thank you!”
