“After searching through many listings, we decided to book Kimi’s ohana. Previous reviews are spot on! It is comfortable and a good value. The landscaping and partial ocean view from back deck enhanced our stay even more.Efficient a/c unit maintains your comfort. Kitchen is well supplied with quality dish and cookware. Also a gas grill to bbq that wonderful island beef!We enjoyed visiting with Kimi, and meeting her rescue cat Harley! Kimi is always available, but respects her guests privacy……

“We stayed here 8 days. The place was very clean and nice accommodations. We liked that it was close the Kona airport. Nice location to go anywhere on the island from. Even had ocean views. The front bedroom has a window ac unit (though you rarely need it). The other bedroom has blackout shades. The unit has Jalousie windows (very common in Hawaii and tropics). We just opened them up and let the breezes do there thing day and night. Both bedrooms have ceiling fans, plus they provided free……

“The studio was private, clean, and offered nice amenities. You can tell a lot of care and attention to detail went into the place. The owners were very responsive. We felt very welcome when we arrived, finding a treat and local music playing. I actually looked forward to hearing the frogs each night, and the roosters crowing in the morning. The covered deck was really nice since we had a lot of rain. Plenty of towels. Full size fridge. “The house was plenty big for our group of 6. We enjoyed the pool very much, we swam at least once a day. The outdoor shower was great to get cleaned up after a day at the beach.
